The Tugmutt Firehose Tug is specifically designed to be used as a bite target for any springpole.
Made from extremely durable Double Jacket rubber lined firehose that is clean and unused, not recycled.
The top anchor loop is made from static line climbing rope which has minimal stretch, excellent abrasion resistance and a high breaking strength.
The anchor rope extends all the way through the length of the firehose and is secured at the bottom, giving the tug extra strength and a longer life.
Stuffed full for maximum grip.
No harmful dyes or chemicals.
Total length: 17 inches
I was relieved at the sight of my boy going hard on the spring pole with little introduction. my shoulders can stay in their sockets now! the spring pole is made well, however I can see future failures such as the rubber caps and the velcro becoming weak or deteriorated. Aside from those things both the spring pole and the bite pillow are absolutely the best two things I’ve ever bought for my boy and he gets countless amounts of enjoyment out of it, all the time.
Most other tugs last anywhere from 5 seconds to a week, at best on my homemade spring pole. This one is finally starting to rip a little in one spot after almost two weeks. If this doesn't sound like long, bear in mind my dog goes through them quick.
It's the best tug I've come across yet. The next best I've found lasts about a week for half this price. If mine were complete shot right now, I'd say it's about equal as far as price/lifespan but given that this still has some life left in it, I'll likely be repurchasing.
Very durable and built to last
It's great quality, and so far, it is the first firehouse tug that my guy has not destroyed in a day or two!
Brilliant
